Blogs Helping Teachers
When looking for articles on blogs, I have mainly been reading those based on enhancing student learning. However, Dan posted an entry sharing a blog he had found, Paul Hamilton shares in his blog, special education resources for teachers.
In this blog, Paul shares a range of different online resources that teachers can implement in their teaching for students with special needs. All the resources he shares are free and easily accessible, which is always great for teachers!
I have been mainly focussing my readings on students having access to resources through blogs, and this article reminded me that blogs are not only useful to students, but they can have the same benefits for teachers. It suggested to me that not only can teachers gain access to information and resources from other teachers worldwide, but they can also share stories from their classroom, and perhaps seek advice from their collegues. It also provides the opportunity to enable communication with other schools from different areas.
